About the Site (AITI)

As a record collector, I have a deep fondness for ten-inch records. Much of my favorite music was originally released, and, more important, intended for release on a ten-inch record. With CDs and Box Sets that provide the listener with hours of enjoyment, sometimes the manner in which the record company originally intended the music to be presented can be lost. This site, along with its sister site, ASIHF, advances my desire to allow the modern day listener the ability to enjoy the music as the listener did fifty years ago, complete with cover art when possible as that was an important part of the experience as well. This site focuses on ten inch records.

Contrary to how we started, I have started to do more vinyl rips. For some, I will still take the CD rip and tag them to match the order of the original issue. I always try to scan the artwork myself, but use other sources when necessary.
